Chatham Township Supports Saving the Drew Forest

Chatham Township unanimously passed a resolution in support of preserving the 53-acre Drew Forest on February 8, 2022.

Resident Joe Basralian, chair of Chatham Township's Open Space Advisory Committee, came before the Chatham Township Committee as one of the founders of "Friends of the Drew Forest" to advocate for the resolution in favor of preserving the Drew Forest (above).

Friends of the Drew Forest

The Friends of the Drew Forest is a volunteer organization dedicated to protect and sustain the Drew Forest Preserve, 53 biodiverse acres that provide countless benefits to Drew University, Madison Borough and surrounding communities along with critical wildlife habit.
